About Maxine
I am a Certified Life Coach with Tony Gaskins Program. I chose Life Coaching for the love of people and the joy of empowerment in the areas of divorce, family dynamics and dilemmas. For many years I have been coaching men and women and did not realize I had the gift. I truly believe when you naturally enjoy what you do, and it’s not work, it’s a gift from God. Why now, it’s my time to be the advocate and the voice for those who need to be heard, regardless of their situation.

FAQs
What’s the difference between a licensed therapist (LCSW), Psychologist, and a certified coach?
Licensed Therapist and a Psychologist treat, medicate and diagnose patients for their mental disorder. Coaches work alongside the client to help forge a path and a partnership. This partnership helps create and formulate an action plan that is custom and personalized by the client, focuses on their particular goals that can be met and gives clear options for a brand-new life. The key is, as your coach, I want to cheer you on and support you all the way to see you become successful.
How long are the sessions?
Most sessions are 45 minutes long with 15 minutes for questions/answers and follow up for the next appointment.
What are the coaching sessions like?
Sessions are customized to each client’s needs. Sessions start with an agenda, what is the goal and homework. However, not all sessions will follow that order.
Do you follow a code of ethics?
We do follow the International Coach of Federations 8 Core Competencies. The four categories are: Setting the foundation, Co-creating the relationship, communicating effectively and facilitating learning and results.
